what it actually costs
The Guys Trip Cost Index
Per person, a three-night state park cabin weekend for seven guys runs $203, a two-night guided fishing weekend for four guys runs $445, and three nights in Vegas for five guys runs $818. These don't share a scale: crew size, trip length and category of spend all differ by trip, so read this as three real trips side by side rather than a single ranking.

Why only three rows
Cabin, fishing and Vegas are here because we actually worked out the numbers. Each one has its own blueprint with the full per-person breakdown and the assumptions behind it. All three are labeled "researched": worked out from real rates, not run as an actual trip, and each blueprint says so on its own page.
Golf, lake-house, road-trip, RV and sporting-event weekends aren't listed because we haven't done that work yet. We could guess a plausible number for each and make the table look complete, but a guessed number is worse than no row at all. New rows show up when a new blueprint does, not before.
None of these include flights, alcohol beyond what each blueprint states, or what you lose at a table in Vegas's case. Each blueprint's own page has the full assumptions.
